Superior Equipment, Superior Results

Clark Testing is a 17025 accredited laboratory with multiple locations in the USA. Our mid-Atlantic location offers seismic testing, shock testing, vibration testing, EMC/EMI and environmental testing. Our Great Lakes regions location offers structural testing, fatigue testing, dyno testing and hydraulic testing. We are a 'one-stop' test laboratory for companies looking to qualify their products for industrial applications such as power generation, telecom, medical, aerospace, transportation and mining as well as military requirements, particularly the navy. Our knowledgeable team can also perform product qualification services to companies providing electronic components and systems to the commercial nuclear power industry under 10CFR-50 regulations.

We have also been active in experimental stress analysis, strength and fatigue testing of structural components, beam fatigue and systems for over 20 years. Products tested range from small machine components to large off-highway vehicle frames. Our capabilities include extensive hydraulic and pneumatic testing suited for applications in aerospace, automotive, heavy equipment, military, nuclear, power generation, and rail and transportation.

  • Seismic Testing

Our seismic shake tables are of different sizes to accommodate requirements varying from a high input acceleration levels of small equipment (control board components) to low input acceleration levels of large equipment (such as safety injection pump).

Seismic OSHPD Testing

California’s Office of Statewide Health Planning & Development requires products to pass unique and intense seismic testing under ICC Evaluation Service acceptance criteria. Due to the state’s geology, the OSHPD requires that tests be performed according to soil class and seismic profile. We tested the above 9,000 lb., 15(l) x 5(w) x 12.5(h) ft. unit for soil class D at an SDS level of 2.50, translating to an AFLX-Horizontal level of 3.2 g and -Vertical level of 1.68g. The table can generate up to 5g on units weighing 2,000 lbs. and has an overall capacity of 20,000 lbs., making it one of the largest triaxial seismic tables in the world.
