MIL-STD-810 - Military Standards - Clark Testing

MIL-STD-810

MIL-STD-810 is a set of testing guidelines that emphasizes the tailoring of equipment's environmental design and test limits to the conditions that it will experience throughout the products service life. To ensure product reliability these chamber test methods replicate the effects of environments on the equipment. The MIL-STD-810 test series are approved for use by United States Department of Defense. Often this standard is used for the testing of commercial products as well.

Seismic OSHPD Testing

California’s Office of Statewide Health Planning & Development requires products to pass unique and intense seismic testing under ICC Evaluation Service acceptance criteria. Due to the state’s geology, the OSHPD requires that tests be performed according to soil class and seismic profile. We tested the above 9,000 lb., 15(l) x 5(w) x 12.5(h) ft. unit for soil class D at an SDS level of 2.50, translating to an AFLX-Horizontal level of 3.2 g and -Vertical level of 1.68g. The table can generate up to 5g on units weighing 2,000 lbs. and has an overall capacity of 20,000 lbs., making it one of the largest triaxial seismic tables in the world.
